Overview[]
Things have changed since the Tenkai Knights have finally defeated Villius and his Corrupted army. One day, Guren finds a rainbow object called a Cubit in his room that takes him and his friends to a colorful world, home to some strange creatures called "Mixels." There they learn that they can mix, max, and even murp with them. Together with their new friends, Guren, Ceylan, Toxsa, Chooki, and Gen must protect the cubits from Major Nixel and his army of Nixels and embark on other crazy adventures that will change their lives forever.
Story[]
Guren Narrates[]
Guren: Hey, Guren here. And in case you're wondering why me and my friends aren't on Quarton anymore it's because now Villius and his Corrupted army are finally defeated thanks to us as the Tenkai Knights. Anyways, things changed a lot since our last battle in Quarton. Ceylan's getting good at math, Toxsa's trying his best on a new video game he got, Chooki's getting better at fishing, Gen's got a lot of girls falling for him, Beni moved to New York, and Mr. White's shop is flooding with customers. But as we thought things were going cool, well let's just say that a new adventure is waiting for us.
Chapter One: Flain's Dream[]
Flain stood in the middle of a dark, foggy scenario. He looked around, hoping to find his friends but no Mixel was found. The silence seemed to swallow him. He glanced over his shoulder and then back again. Still no one. Flain felt like he was all alone but then suddenly, a red bright light appeared before him. He shielded his eyes from the light just as he managed to see through the glare, there appeared a strange figure that looked like a human. He had red mahogany hair and purple eyes at were as almost as light as dawn. And those eyes were staring right at Flain, but only in a friendly way. He then held out his hand as if he wanted to hold Flain's hand. Flain wasn't afraid, so with all his courage, he walked over to him and just as he was about to get closer, the human called out his name.
"Flain..."
Flain frozen. How did the human with the red hair know his name? The voice of the human called him again, only instead of a friendly tone, it became more urgent. Flain shook his head and kept going, but then the human started moving away from him!
"Flain, Flain!" the human cried, as he continued calling him and this time he was moving faster, his hand was still holding out.
"Wait! Wait! I'm coming! Stop!" cried Flain, still running towards him.
"Flain, Flain wake up dude!"
Wait, what?!
He woke up, and another place materialized before him. Pipe trees with coconapples growing on them, fresh green grass, and a river streaming with water.
Oh.
Flain was just in the Mixel world. And Zorch was hovering over him, frowning. His heartbeat slowed down as reality sank in.
It was Zorch who'd been calling his name and shaking him. Flain was just dreaming.
"Having the same weird dream about meeting that human again, huh?" asked Zorch. Flain nodded sleepily.
Flain got up from the pipe tree he was sleeping on and stretched his arms. "Yup." He groaned. Ever since then, Flain has been having the same dream about meeting that human with the same red hair. "I wish I could just figure out what it means, though."
"Well, worry about that later, because right now we need to help the other Mixels get everything ready for the Annual Mix Festival." Vulk reminded him. Flain's eyes widened just as he scrambled to his feet. "Oh schmixel, right! I forgot!" he exclaimed. "Let's go!"
The 3 Infernites were walking to the festival to help get the preparations ready. While Vulk and Zorch were talking about what music to play at the festival, Flain seemed to be still thinking about that dream he kept having.
"Hey, Flain," Zorch said smugly, catching Flain's attention, "What are you thinking about? It's kinda obvious you're not paying attention to us."
"Huh?" Flain asked and snapped back to reality, "What are you talking about? Of course I'm paying attention to you guys!" he replied with a laugh, "What makes you think otherwise?"
"Well... You were keeping your head in the clouds again," Vulk admitted sheepishly, "Even if we're not asking anything... Though you can keep doing that! I mean- I don't have that much of a problem with it!" he assured Flain. Just then, Zorch realized something that annoyed him. "Please don't tell me you're still thinking about that dream of that red haired human of yours again, Flain."
"Actually, I was." Flain admitted just as he perked up and his eyes shined. "Maybe my dream means I'll meet that human someday. Yeah, imagine that!" Both Zorch and Vulk stopped dead on their tracks, their eyes grew wide! "Oh no way, Flain! Mixels shouldn't meet humans!" exclaimed Vulk, shaking in fear. "They scare me!"
Flain's face shrouded with confusion. "What? Why? It might be rad to meet one. Besides, I'm sure they're not that bad once you get to know them." Zorch frowned and shook his head. "Well, humans..." he began, shakily. "They might kinda be like the Nixels. I may be fast, but I would never run away from them, besides I'm no dum dum to meet one up close. No way!"
Flain frowned and huffed. "Oh come on guys, it might be awesome! Somewhere outside of this world is another world where that human like the one in my dreams lives. And I might get to meet him! Can you believe that?" Vulk laughed nervously and scooted away, along with Zorch. "Um, not really." he said slowly." We gotta go. See ya at the Mix Festival dude!" Then, they ran off. Flain sighed in frustration and shook his head. He didn't care what his friends say about the humans and he never cared how dangerous they might be. Flain wished they would agree with him, and more than anything, he wanted to see and know his dream human's name. His head turned to the sky. Yeah, someday I'll meet you, red haired human. He thought with a smile as the wind blew gently through his flame.
Chapter 2: On Earth[]
13-year old Guren Nash was happily riding his bike on his way to the park after school. He was in a happy mood because it was the first day of spring break and he gets to meet up with his friends and finally spend some time with his father instead of doing piles of homework. He breathed in the fresh spring air through his nose and let it enter into his lungs. He then let out a soft sigh. "Ah finally! Spring break!" he said dreamily, letting go of his bike handles and stretching his arms wide. While Guren was so busy daydreaming, he almost lost his balance! "Whoa!" he cried as his eyes popped open, but he managed to get his eyes back on the road and hold on to his handles just before he fell over! Guren laughed.
At last, Guren reaches his destination and found his four friends, sitting by the fountain. "Hey Guren!" called out his first friend with the blue hair and the goggles, Ceylan who was waving to him. Guren hopped off his bike and joined the others. "Hey guys!" he called back.
"I'm here! Now that it's spring break, what are we gonna do now?" Ceylan thought about going to Toxsa's diner. "Anybody up for some lime parfait?" Gen who was leaning rolled his eyes. "Let's do something else like go back to Quarton. We haven't been there since our last battle with Villius." Chooki responded hopping off the fountain.
Quarton was another planet that Guren and his friends traveled to as the heroes and Guardians, the Tenkai Knights. Once they were there, they fought with Villius and his Corrupted army. But that's a long story to talk about. After the knights last and final battle, Villius was finally defeated and gone forever. "Well, I'm not so sure about that Chooki." replied Guren. "Quarton's already safe and Villius is gone so maybe we should do something else for a change, like how about a game of soccer?"
Toxsa, the boy with the green hair jumped to his feet and pick up the soccer ball. "Yeah! Sounds good, I volunteer to serve first." Ceylan jumped in and faced Toxsa with a glare. "No way! I volunteer to serve the ball first!" he exclaimed, then they both started arguing again. Guren, Chooki, and Gen shook their heads in annoyance. "Oh boy, here we go again." Gen groaned. Guren let out a sigh, then decided to end the argument by being the server. "I think I'll be the server this time." he interrupted, taking the ball away from Ceylan and Toxsa. As they finally settled down, the boys started to play their game while Gen watched.
"Over here, Guren!" Ceylan called waving his arms around. Guren kicked the ball to Ceylan as he kicked it to the goal that Toxsa was trying to keep the ball from going in, but it went in anyway!
"WOOHOO! Goal!" shouted Guren, and Ceylan jumped with joy. After Guren and Ceyaln scored up to one hundred while Chooki and Toxsa only scored up to ninety nine, the boys decided that it's time for them to head home. "Well, I'll see you guys tomorrow." Guren went with a smile as he walked home. "Okay see ya dude." replied Chooki as the others went home.
Chapter 3: The Rainbow Cubit[]
"I'm home." Guren called as he closed the door behind him that evening. His dad came from upstairs with a smile. "Ah Guren. You're just in time for dinner. I've made some of our famous family pizza." Guren followed him to the kitchen and smelled the aroma of the pizza and other foods. On the table were some delicious dishes and there sat the pizza in the middle. "Wow dad! It looks great!" he said, taking his seat and filled his plate. He sat down and then happily ate as his father chuckled. "Thanks. Now don't eat too much or you'll won't have any sleep for Sunday because we've got plans for our spring break." Guren stopped eating and looked up at him. "Really? What kind?"he asked with his mouth still full. His dad sat down and told him about going to a water park and showed him the tickets! Guren's eyes sparkled with excitement as he eyed the tickets! "Whoa!" he exclaimed. "I can't believe it. We're really going to a water park together? But that's never happened before."
"Until now." replied his dad with a laugh. "Now finish up your dinner and get some sleep. I've got to get everything ready for Sunday."
After Guren finally finished eating, he brushed his teeth and changed into his pajamas. Just as he was about to go to bed, he saw Max patting on a strange rainbow squared shaped object lying on his desk. Guren walked over to him and the object. "Hey Max. What's that you're playing with?" he asked taking a look at whatever it was. He pulled onto his seat and sat down, trying to examine the thing. "Hmm that's weird." he muttered to himself. "I don't think I remember seeing this on my desk." Guren picked up Max and gently put him on the floor, then he scanned the rainbow item with his DUI watch. However, like what he did with his miniature robot which was a gift from Mr.White, it wasn't very successful. Guren frowned. "Oh well. I'll try to find out what it is tomorrow." Finally, he went to bed and closed his eyes, dreaming.
Chapter 4: Another Robot[]
"Huh? Where am I?" Guren said looking around the black foggy area. He walked forward trying to call his friends. "Hello? Ceylan! Toxsa! Chooki! Gen!" he called, cupping his hands to his mouth. "Anybody?" No one answered. He was all alone, until he saw a red glow in front of him that almost blinded him. "Whoa! My eyes!" he cried and shield his eyes to see through the light. And there stood a red robot with flames as hair, a cute beak-like mouth, and a calm smile. Just then the robot called out his name.
"Guren..."
Guren's eyes grew wide with surprise. How did he or it know his name? Guren didn't have time to figure that out because whatever that thing was held out his robotic hand for him to hold on. "Guren..." he called again as if he wanted the redhead to follow him. Guren had no choice but to hold out his hand and grab the robot's. But just as soon as he was about to grab it, the red robot began to move slowly far away from Guren. "Hey wait! Where're you going?" cried Guren as he started running towards him. "Wait wait!" he kept calling as he tried to get more closer but the robot was getting to far for him to reach. Just then, Guren tripped and lost the robot. "Wait! Stop! Come back!" he called out, but it was too late. The robot was gone and Guren was all alone again.
Chapter 5: Gone In A Flash[]
Guren let out a gasp as he woke up the next morning. Max jumped and fell off of his owner's bed right on his belly. Guren looked around and saw that he was still in his room. He rubbed his droopy eyes. "Ugh, it was just a dream." he yawned, getting out of his bed and stretching his arms wide. Just then, he remember that rainbow item that was still sitting on his desk. Hmm. I think I should tell my friends about this, Guren thought to himself as he went to get himself changed and got downstairs to eat breakfast with his dad. Luckily, his dad agree that Guren should call his friends since he has enough time to pack everything for tomorrow. After Guren finished eating, he went back up to his bedroom where Max was back on his bed sleeping and quietly called the others so he wouldn't wake Max up.
At last, they arrived. The boys all gathered in Guren's room with concerned looks on their face. Everything was silent until Ceylan was the first to break it. "So Guren." he began, putting his hands on his hips. "What's this all about? Is it that bucket headed Villius and his Corrupted again?"
"No Ceylan." Guren replied, shaking his head then he turned and grabbed the rainbow item that was sitting on his desk to show to his friends. Toxsa, Ceylan, and Chooki stared at it in awestruck while Gen was the only one who looked at it with one eye, because his left eye was covered with his bangs. "This is why I called you guys to come here. Check out this weird thing I found on my desk yesterday." Chooki was the first to take a closer look at it with confusion. "Dude, that's some weird toy your dad got you." Guren shook his head again and looked up to Chooki. "Get real, will ya? No one, not even my dad gave, this to me. I said I found it laying on my desk yesterday and I have no idea where it came from, or why it got here, or how it got here." Toxsa crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow, thinking of something as he closed his eyes. "Hmm, maybe it came from a space alien that delivers space toys." Just then, he went to his second thought that left him terrified. "Or maybe...it could be a bomb that Villius sent to brickify all of Benham City!" he shouted, just before Guren or the others can reply. "Guren, we gotta get rid of this thing before it explodes!" Without thinking, Toxsa snatched the rainbow object out of Guren hands and quickly opened the window to throw it outside but before he could do that, Guren grabbed it back from Toxsa. "Toxsa wait! We can't do that until we find out what it is yet!" he exclaimed, just as Toxsa grabbed onto it but Guren kept a grip tight. "Itss a bomb Guren! We have to throw it out!" Toxsa argued, as he tugged on it so hard. Chooki tried to calm Toxsa down while Ceylan and Gen tried to help Guren get the thing back, but just as the situation was about to go too far, the rainoww item started to glow! The boys quickly back up. "See! I told you guys it was gonna explode!" Toxsa snapped as it glowed even brighter that it almost blinded them.
Just then, a white flash appeared before them and sucked all five of the boys into the object and they disappeared in a flash. Then the boys tumbled through the rainbow colored swirling vortex that lead them to another portal of light which was the end of the line. Finally, they were gone.
Chapter 6: Guren in Mixel Land[]
Guren's eyelids slowly opened as a new vision came in front of him. He wasn't in his bedroom anymore. He was in a new world only it was different then Earth itself. This world was filled with trees made out of pipes that grew weird looking fruit that he never saw before and they were half coconut and half Granny Smith apple. Then he turned to look at the Mountains which were shaped like nuts and he placed his hand up above his eyes to look up at the sun but Guren was shocked when he found out that the sun was a giant lightbulb! "Whoa!" he gasped. "Weird, just where am I?" Guren got up on his feet even though he still felt dizzy from going through that portal, but soon he realized that his friends weren't with him anymore. He cupped his hands to his mouth to shout out for them. No one answered. So Guren decided to travel through the new world to find them.
Guren kept walking along the dirt road, making sure to not to lose track of it and going in a straight line if it happened to branch off to avoid getting lost. It seemed like he had been walking for hours, and he was getting tired. He decided to save his energy by sitting on a red hot rock that nearly burned his behind and his jumped. "Ouch!" he shrieked, as he discovered that he wasn't in the normal part of the strange world he landed in anymore, he was in a magma wasteland and just then Guren caught a glimpse of three red, robotic creatures bathing in a pool of hot lava which Guren found it very painful but he also found that the lava wasn't burning them. It was like they didn't care as all three of the red creatures let out a relaxed sigh until a big lava bubble floated out of the tub and popped, letting out an awful smell that let the cute cat-eared cyclopic robot and the flame-headed bird robot disgusted. Guren placed his hand on his mouth to keep himself from laughing out loud, but it was no use! The creatures had already heard him and scanned the area to find out where they heard the laughing from.
"Yo Flain." Guren heard the voice that came from the gassy one named Zorch reply to the leader. "Go find out where that noise came from." Flain glared at Zorch and bellowed, "No way! I was about to loose myself into my little world. Why don't you?" he challenged Zorch. Well then Mr. Smarty-pants," Zorch teased, "How about we play a game of rock, paper, scissors and whoever loses gets to find out where that noise is coming from." Vulk rolled his eye and muttered "He we go again" while Zorch and Flain played their game. However, Zorch won and Flain lost. "UGH! Whatever!" Annoyed, Flain hopped out of the tub and grabbed a towel to dry him. Guren gasped and quietly sneaked to the next rock while trying to keep out of sight from the leader who was looking for him. He knew that he had to get out of here and find his friends before who knows what the red robots will do when they catch him. Luckily, he managed to get to the end and he ran but suddenly he tripped on a rock and fell flat on his face.
Chapter 7: Meeting Flain[]
"Hey! Hey dude!" called out a voice that came from Flain. "Wake up. Are you okay?" Guren's eyes slowly opened as he caught a glimpse of the cute beaked creature and his two friends staring at him. "Ah!" Guren screamed and jerked up of Flain's bed, then Flain stared right into the redhead's purple eyes. "Whoa." he murmured in amazement just as Guren calmed down and stared right back into Flain's eyes. Everything went silent until Guren found his voice. "Hey. I know you." He began, pointing at Flain. Flain did the same. "Me too." he replied. Then they both said the same thing together, "I saw you in my dream!"
"Whoa! This is totally rad! I can't believe I finally get to meet my dream human!" Flain exclaimed, with his eyes shining with excitement while Guren looked at him with a confused look but once again, he found his voice which was a little shaky. "Y-yeah me too!" Guren stammered. "But wait! Rewind a little bit. Just who or what are you guys? And where am I?" Flain was the first to tell him and introduce himself and then introduced the other Infernites. "You're in Mixel Land, well you're sitting in a part of it. The Magma Wastelands. I'm Flain, leader of the Infernites. And with me is Zorch and Vulk. We're the Infernites and we're Mixels." Guren was still confused. "Hang on. Infer-what? And what the heck are Mixels?"
Flain decides to explain the story to Guren. "Well, let me tell you something. Infernites are fire Mixels and the first in Mixel Land-" Zorch interrupted him which annoyed Flain. "Yup! We're number one!"
"Hey Zorch! Not the time!" he snarled, pushing Zorch aside and cleared his throat. "Anyway, Mixels are totally, rad super awesome creatures that are divided into different tribes. They have cool powers and they have rad different group names; the Infernites are us, the earth Mixels are the Cragsters, the electric Mixels are the Electroids, the ice Mixels are the Frosticons, the Mixels with sharp and cool teeth are the Fang Gang..." Guren found this story very interesting and decides to keep listening, wishing that he had a snack to eat. "...the Flexers are the Mixels that can bounce and stretch, the slimy Glorp Corp are the Mixels with slime, the Spikels are the Mixels with some painful spikes, and the Mixels that do magic are the Wiztastics, and well..." Flain reached to Guren's ear and whispered. "Between you and me dude, they're not the best in show. But don't tell Vulk that, because he's the only Mixel who likes their shows." Guren chuckled but he stopped as he started focusing on his missing friends. "Wow Flain! That's awesome but I just wanna ask you something. Have any of you seen my friends?" Flain's and the Infernites' exchanged faces and soon realized that Guren looked worried. "I'm looking for them, and they went missing ever since we came here. I think we got separated." The Infernites shook their heads and Vulk replied "Sorry Guren. But we haven't seen your friends anywhere." Guren frowned, until Vulk finished his conversation. "But we did see some things fall from the sky to some parts of Mixel Land before we went to take our hot lava bath." With his frown turning into a smile, Guren's eyes shined with relief. "Really? Those things must be Ceylan, Chooki, Toxsa, and Gen!"
"So do you think you guys can help me?" begged Guren hoping that they'll agree. Then Zorch frowned. "Wait a minute dude! Can we trust you? Because I'm not so sure if I can help you and besides, I never helped any human before." Guren's face fell as if the Infernites didn't believe him.
Luckily, Flain was the only one who decided to step in and help. "I'll help. After all, I know my way around Mixel Land. So maybe your friends might be in any of the Mixel kingdoms." Guren's face brightened as he hopped out of the bed and thanked the leader for his help. But Vulk grabbed Flain by the shoulder before he could help his new friend. "Now hold on Flain! What if Zorch is right? What if it's a trick? Humans are known to be tricky, Zorch said so."
"Come on man. Guren's probably not trying to trick us. He's just wants some help and besides I'm sure he's not working for the Nixels. And maybe not all humans are tricky." Guren overheard their arguing conversation.
Vulk shook his head in disagreement. "But what if it is a trick? We should probably leave the finding to him." Flain glared at his friends and raised his eyebrow. "What?! And let him go home empty handed? No way!" He then turned away to Guren. "Dude wait!" Zorch said, furiously. "Where are you going?"
"I'm gonna help Guren find his friends and if you idiots don't wanna help, then fine!" he replied, angrily. "I'll do it myself. Come on man, let's get searching!" Guren followed Flain out of his room and closed the door behind them.
Chapter 8: Finding In Mixel Land[]
Guren and Flain walked along the road back to the location of the place where he started. Guren looked down at the Infernite leader with a curious look. "Flain are you okay? You've hardly said a word since we left the Magma Wasteland." Flain snapped to attention and looked back at the redhead. "Oh I'm fine dude. I'm just sorry about what happened between me and my Mixel pals. They sometimes don't agree with me because they can be a couple of idiots sometimes."
"Kinda reminds me of the time when me and my friends fought with each other all the time. It was real' stinker." replied Guren with a laugh. "Now tell me all about this place Flain. What's so special about it? Is it just like Earth?" Somehow, Guren's question seemed to cheer Flain up so they stopped to sit down and then he tells him his story. "Well Guren. Mixel Land is an awesome hidden land divided into different tribes; the Mamga Wastelands, which is the home to the Infernites, the Mines are home to the Cragsters, Mountain City, home of the Electroids, and many more home to other Mixel dudes." Flain explained smiling. Guren's eyes grew wide with impression. "Wow! That's awesome dude. Are there any more?" he asked as if wanting to hear more.
Flain knew that Guren wasn't giving up on knowing more and told him another story." There sure is. Long ago, we Mixels used to stay in our tribes and not go out running around meeting each other. It was kinda boring, even for me. Until I, Flain leader of the Infernites, stepped out of the Magma Wastelands to go exploring new places and kept stumbling into all the tribes which had all the other Mixels freaked out." They both laughed as Flain was finished explaining. "Wow. So you actually brought all the Mixels together by walking in their lands? That's crazy cool Flain! That must have made you a heroic leader after that."
Flain blushed from Guren's response. "Gee um...Thanks. Now come on dude, don't we any friends of yours to find?" The two of them got up on their feet and continued their journey. Next stop was the Frosticon kingdom.
Meanwhile, Ceylan was lying on the icy cold ground. His eyes slowly opened and he got up, shivering. Ceylan wrapped himself with his arms to try and keep himself warm. "Brr..." he said, shakily. "Wh-wh-wha? What is this place? And where is everybody?" Ceylan scanned the frozen place, but there was no sign of his friends except for some trees that looked like Popsicles and ice raps. Ceylan got up to his feet and he almost slipped from the icy ground but luckily, he managed to steady himself and walked slowly. "Ugh. I wish I didn't come here and freeze my self to death." he complained just as he heard some laughter coming from the other side. Ceylan slid and hid behind a Popsicle. Then he squinted his eyes to see what was making all that noise only to find three blue creatures riding on ice cubes which they were using to sled on. Then they crashed into a Popsicle tree and it fell right on top of them. Oh! That's gotta hurt! Ceylan thought worried that the blue things were already hurt. But just then, their heads popped out through the Popsicle and they laughed. "Duh, hahaha! That was fun guys!" said the long necked robot named Lunk, who was smiling. "Let's do that again." The three of them laughed again.
Ceylan saw how much fun they were having and decided to join in but he didn't know that he slipped and was heading straight for an ice rap. "Whoa help!" he cried, waving his arms like crazy. Then he went flying but just as he was about to land on the ground painfully, a blue dragon named Flurr saw the blue haired boy and rescued him by blowing a cold breath that made a soft pile of snow right under him. Ceylan landed in the snow safely and popped out from the pile, shivering again. "Wow! That was awesome!" he exclaimed as he got off the snow pile and shook the snow off of him while he brushed the snow off his hair. "Thanks for the save, little buddy. I'm Ceylan Jones, but you can call me Ceylan." Flurr reached his wing out for Ceylan to shake on. "You're welcome Ceylan. My name is Flurr, leader of the Frosticons." he replied as they shook hand and wing, just as Lunk and Slumbo ran to meet up with them. "Are you okay? We heard the screaming when-" Slumbo stopped and stared at Ceylan with curiosity. "Wow! You're one weird looking Frosticon. What are those on your head?" he asked, pointing at Ceylan's goggles. This question had Ceylan a little annoyed. He just had no idea what that blue big mouthed robot was saying, but luckily Flurr defended him. "Um ahem Slumbo. No need to be rude in front of our visitor." whispered Flurr flying above Slumbo and then flew back above Ceylan. "Don't mind him Ceylan. Slumbo can be a bit rude all the time." Just then he realized that he forgot something. "Oh right. I almost forgot to introduce you to my friends. You've already know me and Slumbo, and this guy's name is Lunk." Flurr introduced the Mixel with the long neck to Ceylan. "Hello..." greeted Lunk, slowly waving his hand. Ceylan waved his hand back at Lunk feeling awkward. Suddenly, Lunk felt a sneeze coming up! "Achoo!" he sneezed as frozen snot shot right out of his nose and was heading straight for Ceylan but he managed to dodge out of the way! "Whoa! That's some bad cold you got there, Lunk. But it's kinda cool!" Ceylan complimented and felt cold again as an icy breeze blew by. Ceylan wrapped himself with his arms again. "Brr...I'm freezing out here!" he whimpered, chattering his teeth. "You guys wouldn't mind if you'd help me find someplace warm so I can find my friends?"
Flurr was happy to help a friend, especially a human like Ceylan. "Sure Ceylan. Follow us, we'll make you some hot cocoa when we get there." said Flurr, who was starting to admire the goggles on Ceylan's head. "Then tell us all about you and your friends." added Lunk walking besides him. Ceylan chuckled as they walked to the igloo. Flurr was still looking at his goggles and asked "Can I try on your goggles when we get there though?" Ceylan raised an eyebrow and shrugged but slightly agreed to lend him his goggles. "Um, yeah. Why not?"
Inside the igloo, the Frosticons have already made the hot chocolate with marshmallows and Lunk handed a mug of it to Ceylan who was covered in a hand knitted blanket and sat on a couch. With shaky hands, Ceylan drank the whole mug and let out a relieved sigh. "Thanks guys. I could use the hot cocoa." he replied with a smile as Flurr, with his goggles, and Slumbo sat beside him. "So Ceylan, can you tell us about you and your friends and where you guys lived?" asked Flurr, sounding like a child who wants a bedtime story while Slumbo was bouncing up and down on the couch which almost made his leader and his new friend fall off. Ceylan smiled and started to tell them about him. "Well guys, my friends and I are humans that live on this planet called Earth and it's our home. But..." The Frosticons' eyes grew wide with enthusiumm and amazement. "...I almost forgot to tell you that we're also heroes of another planet called Quarton and when we're there, we're robotic heroes called the Tenkai Knights." Flurr flapped his wings with awe. "Wow Ceylan! You guys are awesome!" he exclaimed. "Yeah. That must have took you and your friends a long time to save that Quarton planet. Tell us more!" Lunk begged happily.
Ceylan was about to tell more of his story when suddenly, someone called out his name. "Ceylan! Chooki! Toxsa! Gen! Are you guys here?" called the familiar voice that Ceylan recognized. Guren. He's here! thought Ceylan feeling relieved that his friend was here to save him from the Frosticons and their begging. But just then, he heard another voice that seemed unfamiliar. "Hey dudes! Are you around here?" the voice called.
Whoa, who's that with Guren? he asked himself. Ceylan had to get out there and find out. So he jumped out of the couch and thanked the Frosticons for the blanket and hot cocoa as he ran and waved his arms around to get Guren's and Flain's attention just as he saw them. Luckily, Guren and Flain noticed him calling and slid down the snow slope to meet him there. "Guren!" cried Ceylan. "Boy am I glad you came. I was freezing out here, but some cool guys that found me here helped me."
"And I'm glad I found you thanks to Flain." replied Guren with a smile. Ceylan's smile changed into a confused frown and his eyebrow raised up. "Who?" he asked as his eyes turned to the Infernite leader and they grew wide as they met Flain's. "Oh you. Hey." Flain crossed his arms and nodded his head as Ceylan introduced himself to him. "I'm Ceylan, Ceylan Jones. But-"
Suddenly, he was interrupted by Flurr who was still wearing Ceylan's goggles and was flying towards them. "Hey Ceylan wait!" he called out flapping his wings as hard as he can. He breathed heavily as he finally caught up with them. "I forgot to give you back your goggles. Thanks for letting me wear them and thanks also for telling us about you and your friends." Flurr handed him the goggles. "No problem Flurr. I wish I could stay but I've got to go. Me and Guren have to find our friends because they could be anywhere in this weird place." Flurr's face fell as if he wanted his new friend to stay forever. Ceylan saw how sad Flurr looked but he had an idea. "Hey buddy..." began Ceylan as Flurr glanced at him with a small smile. "...do you wanna come with us? You might meet some of our friends when we find them." he finished, hoping his question would cheer the Frosticon leader up.
Luckily, it worked. "Yeh-hay!" Flurr shouted excitedly, doing paraloops in the air. "I'd love to come! I can't wait to see what your friends are like." Guren, Flain, and Ceylan laughed as the four of them continued their search. They were on their way to the Cragster kingdom.
Chapter 9: A Rock Solid Visit and a Shocking Surprise![]
In the rocky land of Mixel Land, Toxsa lied hard on the ground with his head spinning from going through that vortex. He got up and looked around to see where he was. All around Toxsa were rock houses covered in shiny gold and in front of them on the left or right are not just two or three but four or five mailboxes filled with mail. "Okay. That was a wild ride, but what is this place?" he said to himself as he walked around to see if any of the boys were around. Just then he heard screams coming from the other side.
Toxsa quickly turned his head towards the source of the sound. Whatever was being screamer surely didn't sound like it came from neither Guren, Ceylan, Chooki, or Gen. It sounded... Deeper and slightly more intimidating, definitely not like the most annoying voice from his sister he was never used to hear. Needless to say, his curiosity got the best of him, and he decided to approach the source of the bickering, even if it meant abandoning his search for his friends. Toxsa crouched behind a rock and peeked up to see that it wasn't yelling but cheering and there he saw three gray, black, and gold robots playing with a boulder as a ball. He also saw that they looked different from each other; The first one had a big arm and hand and had buck teeth, the tall one looked like an ox with big feet, and the small one looked like a cute but wrecking ball with a gold crown on his head. The big handed robot named Krader caught the boulder and shouted "ROCKBALL!" as he threw it at the little robot named Shuff.
SMAX! It hit Shuff right in his face and he and the ball landed right next to the rock where Toxsa was hiding behind. "Ouch. Now that's gotta leave a mark." he whispered making sure the gray robots didn't hear him. Shuff lifted the rockball off of him. "Ouch..." he moaned, with Xs on his eyes. The ox robot named Seismo helped Shuff up as he shook his head. "You okay, Shuff?" Shuff laughed nervously. "Me okay. Just dizzy, but let play again."
The Cragsters got back to their game and Toxsa got a closer look as Krader caught the ball again and threw it very hard at Seismo. But with those big feet, he kicked the ball towards... Toxsa! "Aaaahhh!!!" he screamed as he ducked in time before the rock could hit him on the face. The green haired boy turned around and looked at the rock. Had the seen him? Was he being attacked? Oh gosh...
"Me get! ME GET!" He heard Krader scream behind him and Toxsa panicked behind the rock. While it seemed extremely imposing and threatening, the creature that was approaching the rock that almost hit Toxsa meant no harm at all. Krader approached the rock to pick it up as Toxsa was silently panicking. But he stopped panicking because the big handed creature was busy trying to pull the rock out of the ground which gave Toxsa the perfect time to run away. But before her could run away, he stepped on a stick that snapped in two and Krader turned to see who made that noise and there stood a frightened Toxsa who was shaking in fear as Krader stared back with the same fear in his eyes.
"Ah!" They both screamed but instead of running away, they just kept on looking at each other in the eyes and then Toxsa looked over Krader to see the rockball which was still stuck on the ground. "Looks like you could use some help getting that boulder out." he said, finally founding his voice. "Want me to help pull it out? I'm the muscles around here."
Krader didn't say anything, but he nodded in agreement. "S-sure." he stammered, clearing Toxsa' way to the rock. "Pull out rock please. It stuck deep." Toxsa couldn't understand what he said, but he needed to focus on getting Krader's ball out. So with all his strength, Toxsa pulled the rockballl out with his bare hands and rolled it to Krader. "Err...Here ya go!" he grunted, pushing the rock to Krader and rubbing his hands together to get the dirt and dust off of them. Krader thanked Toxsa and gave him a hand crushing handshake with his big hand that made him scream "Ow!"
"Thanks. Me Krader, leader of Cragsters. What you named?" Toxsa couldn't reply because his hand was crushed and he opened and closed it five times while holding his wrist, but managed to speak his name out. "I'm Toxsa. And you've got a big handshake for someone with a big hand." Krader smiled triumphantly. "Thanks. Me had big big hand and me like it just the way it is."
"Wait, you mean you were born with it?" asked Toxsa, pointing at the Cragster leader's big hand. "It's no wonder you caught that boulder so quickly." They both laughed and suddenly, Krader realized that he had to get back to the game, but then he turned to Toxsa. "Hey Toxsa. Wanna come?" he asked. But the green haired boy just backed away and all he could answer was "No thanks, dude. I don't play any games that have rocks." He hoped that it he didn't hurt Krader's feelings, but Krader just smiled and his buckteethh showed. "Ah, it okay Toxsa. You no need to play. You watch." He smiled in relief as he followed Krader to the field where they met up with a surprised Shuff and Seismo.
Scared Seismo jumped into Shuff's arms and shook in fear. "Krader...who that?" he asked, shakily and his eye grew wide. "A m-monster?" Shuff added, looking scared too. Krader calmed his brothers down as he introduced his new human friend to them. "Oh no. Not monster." he replied with a smile. "Seismo, Shuff. This Toxsa. Me met him over there while trying to get ball." Toxsa had no idea what Krader was saying but it was still nice of him to not only invite him to watch their Rockball game but to also introduce him to his friends or as he said, brothers.
Seismo carefully climbed out of Shuff's arms and his big feet landed on the ground, which caused it to shake. "Oh. No monster. Good." he breathed in relief and introduced himself. "Me named Seismo." "And me Shuff." introduced Shuff after Seismo. "Sorry that we scared. We never see human before, but it so nice to meet you Toxsa."
"Well, thanks. It's nice to meet you guys too because I've never met any robots made out of rocks...Um no offense though." Krader shook his head. "None taken, Toxsa. Now let play rock ball." As the Cragsters started their game, Toxsa went to a nearby bench to sit and watch.
At the top of the mountains, Chooki woke up at the sound of electrifying noises and scanned the area to see some trees that looked like electric rods. He then looked up in the sky which was pitch black, except it was lit up by the sun that was actually a giant lightbulb. Whoa, breathed Chooki awestrucked, as he got up on his feet. "What a cool place. But where am I?" he asked himself. But as he kept on walking and looking around, he heard music coming from the other side. Chooki ran over and hid behind a rod just to find three yellow robots with a cool tail, a wacky hairdo, and a big mouth that looked like a raptor's mouth and had a rod just like the trees stuck on the top of his head. As he got a closer look, Chooki could see that they were dancing to the music and were jumping! But they weren't jumping at all, they were buzzing and getting shocked!
"BZZZZ!!!!" shouted the tailed yellow robot named Teslo. "This party is-BBBBBZZZZZZ!!!!!-crazy!" cried the other robot with the hairdo named Volectro, who then laughed like a maniac. The rod headed robot who his brothers called him Zaptor twirled like a twister and shot some deadly purple bolts that almost zapped Chooki who managed to dodge those bolts just in the nick of time! "Yeah!" Zaptor agreed after blasting the last of the bolts. "How about we mix it up a notch?" Zaptor pulled out a block like item that looked just like the one that Guren found in his room, only it was in different colors instead of the colors of the rainbow; it was yellow and purple. "Wow! Those guys have a weird cube too? So cool!" Chooki said, not realizing he was talking so loud that the Electroids could hear him! "Hey! What was that?" asked Volectro, looking to see if anything or anyone was around and Chooki held his breath so they won't hear him breathing as he pressed his back onto the rod.
Just then, he heard actually nothing. Chooki turned and peeked behind the rod to see that the Electroids have gone and sighed in relief. He turned to walk away but little did he know that the yellow robots were right in front of him the whole time and just before Chooki could escape, they grabbed him and took him to their ritual! "Ah!" Chooki screamed.
Chapter 10: Found Them At Last[]
Meanwhile back at the Cragster kingdom, the two boys and the two Mixel leader searched for Toxsa and called out his name. "Toxsa! Toxsa, where are you?" called Guren. "Hey Toxsa! Come out come out wherever you are!" Ceylan shouted just as he heard some cheering up ahead. "Whoa do you hear something?" he asked looking surprise. Flain raised his hand and cupped his ear to hear the sounds. "It sounds like the Cragster are playing their game of Rockball again." Ceylan's face shrouded with confusion and raised an eyebrow. "Who are the Cragsters and what's Rockball?"
"The Cragsters are the rock Mixels Ceylan. Flain told me about them when he helped me out." Guren explained, then Flurr flew above his head. "And Rockball is their favorite sport in this kingdom, it's like your human games but they only use rocks instead of a regular ball." added Flurr as Guren began to realize something. "Wait a minute guys. What if Toxsa' with the Cragsters?" Flain turned to Guren with a guessing look. "Yeah, just like when Ceylan was with the Frosticons." he said his eyes wide with belief but Ceylan just asked. "What'd you guys talking about? What'd ya mean Toxsa might be with them?" Guren stepped up to explain to him. "If there are Mixels around, then maybe one of our friends is with them!" Now Ceylan was starting to understand. "Oh I get it. Then what are we waiting for? We gotta go and help him get out of here before he gets crushed by that rock ball. Come on!" The boys and the Mixels ran to the fields only to find Toxsa not getting crushed but just watching the Cragsters' rock ball game and he seemed to enjoy it.
Just then, Krader caught the ball and threw it at...
Guren gasped and jerked up as he shouted Toxsa' name! "Toxsa! Look out!" But instead of hitting him, it smacked the face of... Seismo! He felt right on the ground and was completely knocked out just as he lifted the rock off his face. "Woohoo! Go Krader!" Toxsa cheered and then turned to find Guren and Ceylan with their mouths both opened with awe, and Flain and Flurr then flashed them a smile.
"Hey guys. You're just in time to watch the rest of the game. You should've seen how Krader throws that rock with that big hand and then smash Seismo's face." he said, snickering. Guren and Ceylan could have agreed and laughed along with him, but Ceylan just crossed his arms and rolled his eyes while Guren's face was shrouded with relief. "Yeah, that's great Toxsa but we should really get outta of here and find Chooki and Gen before something bad happens to them." Ceylan grabbed Toxsa' arm but he escaped his grip. "No way, dude! I'm not leaving this place until I watch the whole game of rock ball." he exclaimed with a glare. Ceylan glared back at him. "Oh come on Toxsa! Don't tell me you wanna stay here with these guys forever! Aren't you gonna miss playing any of your video games back on Earth?!" He and Toxsa were about to have their own annoying argument again.
Suddenly, the Cragsters paused their game as they saw Guren and Ceylan and their Mixel friends. Krader laid the ball down and he and his Cragster brothers walked over to them. "Oh, now you've done it!" snapped Ceylan. "Now these guys are gonna crush us with one of their rocks!" Toxsa glared at him but before they could argue, the Cragsters came to them with concerned faces and Ceylan tried protect to himself. "What? No way. We not gonna crush you." Krader assured them. Ceylan put bus arms down as he heard this and he and Guren stared at them with wide eyes. " Really? You're not?" asked Guren, hoping that they were telling the truth. "Yeah. We never met humans as friendly as you, guys." said Krader. "And we never knew some would come to Cragsters' kingdom." Shuff added. "Thanks, but what kind of robots are you guys?" Ceylan asked his face filled with confusion. "Oh, we no robots. We are Mixels." said Krader, as he told Ceylan what Mixels are and the Cragsters introduced themselves one by one.
"Me named Seismo."
"And I am Shuff."
"And I the leader, Krader."
"They're the rock Mixels, also known as Cragsters. Flain told me about them when I came to the Magma Wastelands." Guren explained to Ceylan. The blue haired brunette nodded as if he understood, but his mind went back to something else. "That's nice, but we were wondering if you guys have seen any of our friends fall into any of the other Mixel kingdoms."
